Alison Husbands

I have always been interested in hair and beauty from as long as I can remember. So much so that I have been styling and maintaining friends and families hair from a young age.

After years of suffering from dryness and breakage like many other women with relaxed hair I decided to take matters into my own hands and look for a solution to these common problem that Women of Colour face with our beauty routines.

Whilst studying for my BA in Architecture; I continued to work with my client base to bring in an extra income whilst being a student. I found this very enjoyable as I had discovered so much on the science behind healthy Afro hair that I passed on to my clients.

Now I have decided to compile my extensive research and release the Afro Hair & Beauty Bible to share my knowledge with women who are looking for answers to their hair and skin care questions.
